- a quickie...
deon had a great interview on wednesday, the manager of the firm who interviewed him was super impressed that he was looking for work so soon after arriving in the country and the fact that he is already registered in NZ was a huge plus !! deon reckons it will be while before hearing anything from them as everybody works on "island time" - nobody's going anywhere ..... so please all send positive thoughts for a quick affirmative response.
just had a quick chat to D and it's cold in Whangarei - 15 degrees today (fri) and raining.
anyway, here are some pictures from last sunday's farewell party and my birthday .... those who where there thanks so much for a great party and those who could not make it - you missed a good one !

Sun's shining in Sydney so it's a beautiful day! The rainbow lorikeets & king parrots are eating on the balcony & life just couldn't get a whole lot better than this!
I know you're going to NZ, but this SAFE way of life is absolute heaven!!! You've made the right choice.
